Better Earth Talks - Sustainability in Film Production

Join us for a new BETTER EARTH TALK on the gorgeous rooftop of HOLLOWAY HOUSE, the newest of the Soho Houses in Los Angeles. This event will feature a panel focusing on Sustainability in Film Production, special guests and quality networking time among like-minded creatives and professionals!

SPEAKERS:

SHEILA MOROVATI: Founder and President of Habits of Waste. Habits of Waste focuses on finding solutions to shift habits of waste among mass society by running numerous campaigns, such as #LightsCameraPlastic? to drive change by shifting societal norms even in film production.

JES VESCONTE: Climate Lens Fellow at Good Energy, a nonprofit story consultancy for the age of climate change. Jes is a non-binary transdisciplinary artist, Fulbright Scholar, and IASS Fellow working at the intersection of storytelling, art, power, and science.

ALI WEINSTEIN: Queer TV writer, climate storytelling consultant and activist. She co-founded and is an EP of the Hollywood Climate Summit and its annual programs: the Climate Ambassadors Network and Writing Climate Pitchfest. Ali was showcased in The Hollywood Reporter for her role as Director of Programming for the 2023 event, and in the Atlantic and Forbes for her climate storytelling efforts in Hollywood.
